The Organ at the Main Street Baptist Church is designed to make best use of existing materials. New Russell & Co. pipwork is combined with pipework from the existing Estey/L. A. Carlson organ, plus 5 ranks of pipework from an early E. M. Skinner organ and 2 ranks from a Whitelegg/Möller to provide a balanced and homogeneous ensemble conceived in the American Classic tradition. Pre-existing pipes will be thoroughly cleaned, restored, rebuilt and revoiced as required to achieve the proper tonal results.

An early E. M. Skinner drawknob console, rebuilt with new Harris stop and coupler controls and a Classic Organ Works relay system provide for control of the tonal resources. Internally, the mechanism of the organ is entirely new, utilizing either electric or electro-pneumatic action as required.
