CONSOLE:

A new, two-manual and pedal, contemporary style organ console of quarter sawn red oak will be provided. The console will be finished with a hand rubbed stain and oil finish as is appropriate to best suit the existing woodwork in the church. Other console styles, woods and finishes are available with an appropriate adjustment in cost.

The console will be fitted with drawknob stop controls , swell pedal and crescendo pedals, music rack light and pedal key light. 30 foot cable length between console and organ case provided as standard. Multi-level, capture type combination action: Generals 1-20, Cancel, Set and Reversibles: GT/PED, SW/PED, SW/GT, TUTTI, 32 BOURDON, 32 CORNET.

WINDCHESTS:

New windchests will be provided, constructed of fi
ne hardwoods and birch plywoods and will utilize a dependable all electric action type with solid state controls.

ACTION:

Key and stop action will be all electric with solid state controls. Only solid sterling silver contacts and silver tipped contact plates will be used for maximum reliability.

WINDING:

A new high speed organ blower will be located in the room directly below the organ chamber. A special silencing cabinet will house the blower to ensure near total silence of operation. New wind regulators will be provided throughout the organ to ensure an ample and resilient supply of wind.

PIPEWORK:

New pipework will be fabricated in the Builder's shop to specifications developed to provide the proper tonal characteristics in consideration of the acoustics of the room. New reed pipes will be fabricated in Europe to the Builder's precise specifications.

TONAL MATTERS:

The scaling, voicing and tonal finishing are specifically designed for the Purchaser. The work will be carried out in the best traditions of European and American organ building. Historical traditions of both organ performance and design, as well as choral accompaniment will be the prime considerations in the scaling, voicing and tonal finishing of the instrument. The organ will be tonally finished only in its final location to insure an ideal balance of the tonal resources with the acoustics of the room.

CASEWORK/PLACEMENT:

The organ will be housed in the gallery location designated as organ chamber. New casework in contemporary style as per attached drawing will be built to cover the organ chamber opening. It will be constructed of red oak and red oak veneers and will be finished with a hand rubbed stain and oil finish. The pipes of the 8' Principal stop will be in display.
